Sarvega Announces XML Context Router: World's First XML Router, Enabling Any to Any Web Services over Wide Area Networks
Service Providers and Enterprises Can Now Widely Deploy Web Services to Open New Markets and Generate More Revenue
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 21, 2004--Wi Fi Radio Sarvega, Inc., the leading provider of high-performance XML
networking solutions, today announced the Sarvega XML Context(TM)
Router, the first product to enable loosely coupled multi-point XML
Web Services across wide area networks (WANs). The Sarvega XML
Context Router is the first XML appliance to route XML content at
wire speed based on deep content inspection, supporting
publish-subscribe (pub-sub) models while simultaneously providing
secure and reliable delivery guarantees.
Sarvega will exhibit the XML Context Router in its booth at
Supercomm (June 22-24, 2004, McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, Booth
#10028).

Broadband Access Until now, Web Services deployments have been limited to point-to-point application integration as a replacement to legacy integration mechanisms. Most sophisticated environments, however, require high-performance secure event-driven asynchronous exchange of information between publishers and subscribers.
This book teaches you all you need to know about XML — what it is, how it works, what technologies surround it, and how it can best be used in a variety of situations, from simple data transfer to using XML in your web pages. It builds on the strengths of the first edition, and provides new material to reflect the changes in the XML landscape — notably SOAP and Web Services, and the publication of the XML Schemas Recommendation by the W3C.
Wi Fi Antenna Today's XML solutions are characterized by an inability to deliver XML messaging with the required scalability, reliability, content-level security, performance and flow-control. Additionally, the emergence of Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs) has greatly heightened the need for XML- based Wide Area Messaging infrastructures, as SOAs are not viable without support for core messaging capabilities across network boundaries.
The first thing you need is a wireless router. There are many broadband providers that now offer wireless routers free as part of a package or at a reduced cost. Click on our broadband comparison tool to find out more.
Broadband Service With Sarvega XML Context Routers, users can create complete overlay XML mesh networks, as the XML Context Router is the first product that provides secure, end-to-end reliable delivery of asynchronous messaging for web services within and outside of the enterprise. It also delivers the industry's first Gigabit performance for XPath-based routing driven by XML routing tables based on support for both XPath 1.0 and XPath 2.0 and, in future, XQuery standards.
The Router also enables the new Linksys Parental Control Service, which makes it easy for you to keep your family safe on the Internet. First, week access restrictions. Then, choosing from 16 different web content categories, you control what each family member is allowed to see. mail and instant messaging filters let you decide who can send messages to, and receive messages from, your family. line individualized activity reports anytime. A free trial of the Service is included with the Router.
Wi Fi Card "As Web Services traffic grows, XML routers, as a new category of intermediary devices, will become essential components in most enterprise and carrier networks," said James Kobielus, senior analyst at Burton Group, an IT research and consulting firm. "XML routers complement lower-layer traffic-management devices such as IP routers and network load balancers. The principal value-added from XML routers is their ability to reliably and securely route XML traffic over the wide area and perform policy-driven, fine-grained inspection, filtering, and transformation of SOAP message headers and contents."

Broadband Connection The unique networking capabilities provided by Sarvega's XML Context Routers enable users to deliver new, sophisticated Web Services. For example, carriers can now offer customers high-performance, secure premium services over XML Value Added Networks (VANs) with content-level security, Quality of Service (QoS) and delivery guarantees. Large enterprises can cut costs by replacing multiple point-to-point networks and replacing them with dynamic extranets: value-added semi-private networks in which XML Web Services are routed securely and reliably to multiple subscribing applications at wire-speed. For example, financial services organizations can use the XML Context Router to leverage XML web services to accurately route FIXML and create new, revenue generating services. It is also well suited for government applications, which can deploy networks that provide rapid delivery of large amounts of data to multiple subscribers using the pub-sub model.
Palm Wi Fi Card The Sarvega XML Context Router is currently in trials with carrier and government customers and will be commercially available in the fall. Additionally, Sarvega will offer PCI/PCI-X cards with Gigabit-level performance in the fall.
Broadband For Business "Sarvega's vision has always been to develop high performance, dynamic XML-based networks. Now, with our XML Context Router, Sarvega is delivering a product that allows customers to deploy a full mesh XML overlay network, complementing and enhancing the value of their existing IP infrastructure. Our XML routers dynamically deliver intelligent, reliable wire-speed XML content for sophisticated Web Services," said Christopher Darby, president and CEO of Sarvega.
Belkin Fi Phone Wi To simplify configuration, deployment and management of XML Context Router networks, Sarvega's Context Console(TM) provides a "configure once, deploy anywhere" capability for the router, as well as all of Sarvega's XML appliances. With a simple wizards-based interface, the Context Console simplifies and centralizes the task of configuration, deployment, and management of large-scale, distributed deployments of Sarvega XML Context Routers.
Insight Broadband "Sarvega continues to extend its leadership in addressing XML Web Services challenges through our XML Networking solutions for mission critical deployments. Sarvega's XML Context Routers, along with Sarvega's XML Speedway and XML Guardian solutions can, for the first time, offer wire-speed end-to-end secure reliable asynchronous messaging capabilities - a capability without which the vision of standards-based Service Oriented Architectures is not possible," said Girish Juneja, Co-founder and senior vice president of product management.
Nintendo Ds Wi Fi Sarvega's industry-leading product portfolio also includes the XML Guardian Gateway(TM) appliance, for securing and protecting mission-critical XML Web Services traffic, and the XML Speedway(TM) Accelerator, which delivers wire-speed XML processing. Powered by Sarvega's patent pending XML EventStream(TM) Operating System (XESOS(TM)) technology, which delivers high performance and reliability without proprietary hardware technology, Sarvega's appliances are based on an Intel hardware platform that delivers high performance without the increased cost and vendor reliance of proprietary hardware-based solutions.
Broadband Provider Sarvega will exhibit all three of its XML networking appliances in the company's booth at Supercomm. Additionally, the XML Guardian Security Gateway will be exhibited in the 10 Hottest Technologies Pavilion (#13511C).
