Broadband Access IPod photo works effortlessly with Apple's iTunes(R), providing music lovers with access to the iTunes Music Store, the number one digital music service in the world. iPod photo features Apple's patent-pending Auto-Sync which works seamlessly with iTunes to automatically download an entire digital music library onto iPod photo with just one click, keeping it up-to-date whenever iPod photo is plugged into a Mac(R) or Windows computer using FireWire(R) or USB 2.0, the standard amongst both Mac and PC users to both charge and update any iPod.

Announced in October 2001, iPod represented Apple and strike into the digital music market. Tony Fadell worked with Apple as an independent contractor on the iPod project. Back then, Apple believed iPod was a potent product for its remarkable size and capacity, but the price was too high for consumer market ($400). After iPod was released, and a month later in Europe, Apple sold 125, 000 iPods in year 2001. ITunes came with iPod, and it is used to download music to the iPod player. People can select what they wish to download into their iPod from the Internet or use iTunes to turn normal CDs into digital files that can be played on the iPod. Over the years many software updates have been released to correct bugs from the generation 1 iPods. With continuous improvement of size, memory and PC supports and its strong marketing strategies, iPod continue to be Apple s top product ever in its history.

Wi Fi Antenna The new iPod Camera Connector is an optional accessory that enables customers to connect their digital camera to iPod photo and import their photos into the iPod. By simply connecting the iPod Camera Connector and a digital camera*, customers can easily transfer digital images to their iPod photo, providing tremendous storage space so they can take more pictures. Imported photos are immediately viewable on iPod photo's crisp color screen, and can also be brought back to iPhoto(R) on the Mac or various photo applications on the PC. The iPod Camera Connector is expected to be available in late March for $29.

Considered a "fifth generation" by some, the iPod color display models, including the earliest model known as iPod photo, let you store and view color digital photos as well as store and play sound; generation iPod can do and uses the same accessories. As of this writing, Apple provides a 20GB model and a whopping 60GB model that can hold up to 15, color album cover art — or as many as 25, 000 photos.
